Mother’s Day is coming up! If you are looking for a great way to celebrate mom, look no further. Here are some ideas for healthy, fun celebrations that you and Mom will love:
1. Spend some (active) time together
Heading out on a walk, hike, kayak trip, or bike ride is a great way to give some quality time and keep it healthy for Mother’s Day. Plus, there is nothing wrong with releasing some endorphins while you celebrate the woman who gave you life. Not sure how “active” your mom wants to be? Shopping can be counted as cardio if you’re doing it right!
2. Take a healthy class together
Zumba and dance classes are tons of fun, a great workout and a nice way to spend time with mom. You’ll likely laugh until your abs hurt and burn some extra calories taking on the moves.
3. Give a “healthy” gift card
Moms love to be pampered, and let’s face it- they don’t often pamper themselves as much as they deserve. Massages are a great way to give mom some health and relaxation. A good mani/pedi won’t go unappreciated, either! A healthy cooking class, or retreat are also awesome ways to inspire health and give something awesome. 4. Enjoy a healthy meal
Pulling together a brunch or dinner with healthy yummies is a great way to celebrate mom! If she isn’t into health she doesn’t even really have to know that everything is good for you and her. She’ll just be glad to spend time with you!
